According to research, sitting in 18th place overall, Toyota Motor Corporation is the world's most valuable automaker – and, of course, it's also the top selling carmaker globally.

Toyota Motor Corporation has grown steadily and jumped from 21st in 2024 to 18th in 2025 as a sign of things to come. At the end of last month, the company also announced its sales result for last year – in 2024, TMC sold over 10.159 million vehicles around the world, a small drop of 1.4% due to poor performance at home in Japan, while international markets rose by one percentage point.

However, Toyota is looking confident toward the future – Volkswagen AG doesn't seem like a major threat after last year they beat them with the performance of eleven months instead of twelve, and new models are coming soon to solidify a great year full of novelties. On the pipeline is the all-new XA60, the sixth generation of the best-selling Toyota RAV4 compact crossover SUV, along with a whole bunch of mid-cycle refreshes.

For example, the rumor mill and members of the imaginative guild of digital car content creators believe that Toyota might want to put its US subsidiary, Toyota Motor North America (TMNA), in an even better position in the minivan segment. Over there, a rarefied field of players includes the Chrysler Pacifica (which took the sales crown last year with 119k units), the second-placed Honda Odyssey, which surged 7.4% to over 80k deliveries, the third-ranked Toyota Sienna, which jumped 12.8%, and the refreshed crossover-style Kia Carnival which also rocked a 14% improvement last year.

As it turns out, the MPV sector – while rarefied – isn't dead or dying just yet, as per the positive results. Thus, according to the good folks over at the AutoYa info channel on YouTube, who have a satellite venue dubbed AutoYa Interior, Toyota might want to keep the momentum going with a mid-cycle facelift for the 2026 Toyota Sienna – and they have the unofficial, hypothetical first look in their latest video design project.

Until now, Toyota used the new model years to introduce various upgrades to the Sienna line – the Woodland Edition for 2022MY, the Sienna 25th Anniversary for 2023MY, and an interior update for the 2025MY. But the host of the channel believes that 2026MY will bring the biggest changes, including a completely redesigned front fascia with split headlights as illustrated by the resident pixel master, a big change for the rear in the form of LED-strip taillights, and even more changes inside.

Meanwhile, The CGI expert showed us the unofficial, hypothetical 2026 Toyota Sienna design proposal from various angles – both front and rear – while showcasing the interior from a couple of POVs. Last but not least, the traditional color reel isn't missing in action, and it also features a quick comparison between the imagined and the real-world's models.
